Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time occupational therapist opportunity is available in the Atlanta, GA area, serving K-12 students across multiple schools. This contract position is scheduled to run through the current school year, beginning as soon as possible and concluding in late May 2026. The role requires providing dedicated OT services at four assigned schools, working directly on-site to support students developmental and therapeutic needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 to enhance their functional skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise to multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all school and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist licensure valid in the state of Georgia.
- Prior experience working in a school setting providing OT services to children in K-12.
- Ability to work full-time hours (35 hours per week) solely on-site with no hybrid or remote options.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with educators and families.
